Children will plant and care for vegetable crops; learn about the soil, plant seeds, and insects; learn to recognize some ground-cover, shrubs and trees found in the woods, good ones, bad ones; learn how to recognize and protect oneself from ticks, poison ivy, etc.; and engage in water play (expect muddy boots).
