Tinkergarten Classes with Nature Play, NJ!
Join us outside the Veblen House for joyful, brain-boosting outdoor play! Designed for children 1.5 - 8 years and their caregivers, we engage in open-ended, child-led exploration with irresistible invitations to play using the Tinkergarten curriculum. Each class combines early learning science with timeless wisdom about nature and childhood. Stimulating and calming in equal parts, the outdoors provides a perfect environment for kids’ sensory systems, activating their focus and joy for learning.
Classes are held on the first Sunday of every month. This donation-based class benefits FOHW.

Egg Hunt!!!
Join Mathilde Burlion, Certified Master Gardener and local mom, for gleeful morning of hunting for hidden eggs in the Herrontown Woods Barden! Hunters will find the eggs that were painted and hidden the day before.
This event is free for all ages. Meet in the Barden for this event (600 Snowden Lane).
Egg Painting—and Hiding—Event!

Irish Tales Celebrate St. Patrick's Day
What’s St. Patrick’s Day without a little blarney and stories? Join the Princeton Storytelling Circle in a 1 p.m. program for all ages celebrating the Irish tradition of sharing tales that charm and tickle the funny bone. Get a jump on World Storytelling Day (March 20) when the oral tradition of telling stories is celebrated around the globe! Feel free to bring your own picnic lunch and/or beverage to enjoy during story time.

Soil Testing Workshop
Mathilde Burlion, Certified Master Gardener and local mom, will be instructing a class on how to test the soil in your garden and yard. Bring dry soil samples from your garden and/or yard and Mathilde will teach how to test pH level as well as test for nutrients in your soil. A must for any home gardener!
