All are welcome to experience the Lantern Festival in Herrontown Woods, where decorated paths and artistic and cultural activities create a magical afternoon. Participate in a Traditional Dragon Walk, symbolizing unity, and engage in a unique DIY Wood Snake Art Project and Snake Walk, curated by local artist Hope VanCleaf, a valued friend of Princeton University and Herrontown Woods. Explore traditional games, capture special moments with photo opportunities by local professional photographers, and savor tea, dumplings, and egg tarts by local vendors. Don’t miss the lucky draw for a chance to win exciting surprises while supporting Herrontown Woods’ conservation efforts. Embrace the spirit of the Snake Year and Lantern Festival through a delightful hike illuminated by lanterns. Participants are encouraged to bring their handmade lanterns.
