The Tour of Trees
Our tour of trees is divided into “neighborhoods” around the human-cultured areas of Herrontown Woods: the Barden, the Veblen House, and the Cottage. In these neighborhoods you will find labeled specimen trees of some of our most important species. Scan the QR code on a label for botanical and cultural notes on each tree.

Tagged Trees
In addition to the tree tour neighborhoods with their labeled trees, all along the trails you will observe small numerical disc tags on many trees, including several species not included in the neighborhoods. So far, FOHW volunteers have tagged over 300 representative specimens of our trees, representing a total of 57 distinct species.
