Submit your best photos that capture your favorite part of the NATURAL ENVIRONMENT AND/OR THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT AT HERRONTOWN WOODS. Venture into the Woods for a new nature photo shoot, or submit a favorite photo you have taken in the past. All ages and skill levels are welcome! THE DEADLINE IS OCTOBER 29, 2023.
The rules of the photo contest are as follows:
Photos taken may only be those taken in Herrontown Woods, which includes any of the trails, Barden, Veblen House and Veblen Cottage areas.
All photos should be original work, taken by the entrants. Photos cannot infringe upon the trademark, copyright, intellectual rights, or rights of privacy of any entity or person.
Standard editing is permitted (e.g. cropping, exposure, contrast, color vibrancy, saturation, etc.)
By entering the contest, entrants agree that photos submitted can be used by the Friends of Herrontown Woods (FOHW) for publicity, fundraising, advertising purposes, or other such purposes deemed by FOHW.
Contest winners will be notified by email in early November 2023. First place, runner-up, and honorable mentions will be awarded. prizes include FOHW t-shirts, mugs, and gift cards for May's Barden cafe!
