Join us this Sunday for a guided Amphibian and Vernal Pool Walk through the Herrontown Woods, led by naturalist Fairfax Hutter. Tree frogs, spring peepers, spotted salamanders, and other amphibious critters are emerging from their winter hibernation in Herrontown Woods and the crucial vernal pools will soon be teaming with life - and eggs! Join Fairfax Hutter as she leads a guided walk to some of the Woods most notable vernal pools. Meet at the Botanical Art Garden (Barden) next to the main parking lot for Herrontown Woods off Snowden Lane. Overflow parking is available across Snowden Lane in Smoyer Park.
