Join us for a guided nature hike this Saturday, July 1 from 8:30-11 AM with local naturalist Mark Manning - we will be searching for dragonflies and damselflies! Did you know in New Jersey, the season for dragonflies and damselflies runs from April through October, although the best month for spotting the most species is in June? This coincides with the increasing photoperiod (length of daylight) and moderating temperatures.
Meet at the main parking lot for Herrontown Woods off Snowden Lane. Overflow parking available across Snowden Lane in Smoyer Park.
