Botanical Art Garden

The Botanical Art Garden, nicknamed the Barden, began as a jumble of fallen trees and invasive species, and has evolved into an award-winning combination of nature and culture, with labeled native plants, art, and whimsy. Learn the improbable story of how this collaboration with nature came to be and continues to evolve.

Explore Herrontown Woods is a special collaboration with the Princeton Adult School to host a series of tours of Herrontown Woods this fall. Signups are still available for the second and third sessions, led by FOHW president and naturalist Steve Hiltner. Both sessions are from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. October 28 will focus on the Botanical Art Garden ("Barden"). Nov. 4 will explore the special features of Herrontown Woods. The fee of $40 per person goes to the Princeton Adult School. Sign-up required.

Rain Date: Sunday, October 29, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
