Nature's Temples: A Natural History of Old-Growth Forests

Joan Maloof, the author of “Nature's Temples: A Natural History of Old-Growth Forests,” explores the science and alchemy of old-growth forests and makes a compelling case for their protection. Joan Maloof, PhD, is the founder and director of the Old-Growth Forest Network, and professor emerita of biological sciences at Salisbury University. In addition to “Nature's Temples” her books include “Treepedia” and “Teaching the Trees.”

Presented in partnership with the Friends of Herrontown Woods, Friends of the Drew Forest and Princeton University Press.
