Joan Maloof, the author of “Nature's Temples: A Natural History of Old-Growth Forests,” explores the science and alchemy of old-growth forests and makes a compelling case for their protection. Joan Maloof, PhD, is the founder and director of the Old-Growth Forest Network, and professor emerita of biological sciences at Salisbury University. In addition to “Nature's Temples” her books include “Treepedia” and “Teaching the Trees.”
Presented in partnership with the Friends of Herrontown Woods, Friends of the Drew Forest and Princeton University Press.
The talk will be at Princeton Public Library. Register for in-person attendance! The library's HVAC system is being replaced during this time frame. If conditions require, this event will move to Labyrinth Books. Please register to receive updates.
